"The Fair Hangar"
Fair Avenue School's Computer Lab
We begin each school year becoming familiar with the use and care of our computer equipment as well as safety and health rules within the lab itself. Not only are we concerned about our students' intellectual growth, but we are just as concerned about their physical well being. For this reason, we emphasize the importance of safety with the lab furniture and equipment and healthy guidelines to help prevent illness and injury.
Once our students are comfortable with the use of the equipment, which is a very quick process, as they are natural "sponges" to new and exciting experiences, we move on to activities that fall within the National Educational Technology Standards (N.E.T.S.).
Our Computer Lab curriculum is based on the International Society for Technology In Education (ISTE) National Educational Technology Standards (N.E.T.S.).
We serve all students from Kindergarten to Grade 5.
